Initial Visit
In this phase of care, patients will meet with Dr. Park for the first time. During this time is when patients will be discussing with Dr. Park the issues the patients present and the reason for the visit where Dr. Park takes detailed history. Afterwards, Dr. Park will perform a detailed examinations where he goes through various ranges of motion and orthopedic exams depending on the patient’s problems and conditions. Lastly, Dr. Park will discuss with the patient what the next steps are regarding to treatment plan. This is also the time when Dr. Park takes the time to understand the patients’ preferences.
First Phase of Care (Pain Relief)
During this phase, the focus is more on helping patients with pain relief. Patients will also begin to understand the benefits of being under chiropractic care as they learn more about how the human body works.
Second Phase of Care (Flexibility and Stability)
As the patients’ symptoms decrease, this is when the patients will be able to work on flexibility and stability with prescribed exercises given by Dr. Park. Dr. Park will guide each patient and demonstrate exercises and stretches depending on each patients’ case.
Third Phase of Care (Postural Correction)
In this phase, the patient will build enough flexibility and mobility to help correct and maintain proper posture.
Fourth Phase of Care (Optimization and Wellness)
We want the patients to stay feeling good. In this phase of care, patients do not need to come in as frequently as they did, but it is recommended to not lose the progress the patients have made and come in for regular visits to maintain their progress.
